History

Jennifer Querry

During the Salem witch trials, Jennifer Querry - a nurse and member of the British Brotherhood of Assassins - worked alongside her compatriot Tom Stoddard.[1]

Florence Nightingale

During the 19th century, Florence Nightingale wrought numerous social reforms in regards to healthcare, especially in relation to how nurses were observed by the population. While stationed at the Lambeth Asylum in 1868, she made the acquaintance of the Assassin Evie Frye. Later that same year, Miss Nightingale enlisted the aid of the Frye twins when she learned that Charles Darwin had been arrested by a policeman. They managed to locate Darwin, and Nightingale tended to his injuries. When Darwin had recuperated enough, he met with both Evie and Jacob Frye, before Nightingale urged him to retire to the Isle of Wight for further recovery.[2]

At some point, a nurse by the name Whitney worked in the Lambeth Asylum. She was responsible, amongst others, for a boy called Jack, and apparently treated him cruelly and with negligence. This left its marks on the boy, and years later in 1888, he returned to kill her.[3]
