Money Changer District

The Money Changer District was a money-lending district in Sakai in Izumi Settsu, Japan.

History

In late 1582, the Kakushiba ikki member and shinobi Fujibayashi Naoe returned to Sakai, infiltrated the district, and dealt with its roaming outlaws. After dealing with them, she recovered a note from one of them, which detailed of a figure called the Iron Hand talking about how Oda Nobunaga's death providing an opportunity to overtake Imai Sōkun's business in silver and steel for their own. With this information, she left to discuss matters with Imai Sōkyū.[1]

Behind the scenes

In the memory "The Kabukimono," while hunting down the kabukimono in Izumi Settsu, the player is given a choice of assassinating the Ghost General either in the district or at the city's port.[2]
