Anabasis Alexandri was a book written by Arrian. During the early 16th century, the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze bought a copy of this book from one of the several book shops in Constantinople.

Summary

One of the only complete accounts of the military campaigns of Alexander the Great, "The Campaigns of Alexander" is actually a compilation made up of earlier sources, all of them now lost to the dustbin of history.
