Leonardo Loredan (1436 – 1521) was the Doge of the Republic of Venice from 1501 until his death. He was an ally to the Italian Assassins in the city.

Before his reign in 1501, an Assassin team led by Francesco Vecellio, was tasked to kill Agostino Barbarigo, the Doge at that time, he betrayed the Assassins and became the ally of the Borgias. By creating a series of panic situations, the Assassins completed the mission and sent a very real threat to Leonardo, making sure he never betrayed the Brotherhood.[1]

Early in his reign, Leonardo scouted a young actor named Bastiano da Mezzo during one of his performances. Impressed with his skill, Leonardo introduced Bastiano to the Italian Assassins, encouraging him to join the Brotherhood.[2]
