Leonardo Loredan (1436 – 1521) was Doge of Venice from 1501 until his death. He was an ally to the Italian Assassins in the city.

Early in his reign, Leonardo scouted a young actor named Bastiano da Mezzo during one of his performances. Impressed with his skill, Leonardo introduced Bastiano to the Italian Assassins, encouraging him to join the Brotherhood.[1]
