Lake Léman, also known as Lake Geneva, is a lake shared between Switzerland and France situated above the Alps northeast of Geneva.
History
The remains of Assassin extremist Boris Pash were buried in a graveyard near Lake Léman after his death on 11 May 1995. After her escape from Abstergo Industries, Pash's daughter Nathalie Chapman founded the Clinique des Rameaux by the lake, intending for the facility to aid patients with memory issues. However, while there, she used the Apple of Eden she took from Abstergo to run experimental Animus testing on her patients which soon led her to create her own version of Project BLUEBIRD.[1]
By November 2017, her clinic had gained a new patient in Elisa Adler, under the alias "Elisa Bouyver", and a new employee in Dr. Florent Carpentier, who in truth was the undercover Assassin Tomo Sakagawa secretly helping Elisa. By then, Chapman had grown aware of Tomo's real plans and shut down the clinic before escaping the Assassin's clutches.[2] Before leaving, Chapman visited her father's grave and promised to continue his work with Project BLUEBIRD.[1]
