The Janissary Kijil was a sword obtainable by the Assassin Ezio Auditore during the Ottoman Renaissance. It was the primary weapon of the Janissaries, though it could be purchased at blacksmiths throughout the city of Constantinople.

Trivia

• Even though the weapon was only available in the shops after Sequence 6, Memory 4, it could be obtained earlier by picking up the weapon from a dead Janissary, provided Ezio had no medium or heavy weapon equipped.
• Kijil was likely a misspelling of kilij, which was a Turkish saber.
