The Imperial District was one of the four major districts within the city of Constantinople during the Renaissance. It was an area of towering marble buildings, majestic mosques and opulent citizenry. It is home to the Hagia Sophia.

It has also been included as a multiplayer map with the Mediterranean Traveler Map Pack downloadable content for Assassin's Creed: Revelations.
