Gold Bombs were a type of bombs the Ottoman Assassins, led by Yusuf Tazim and Ezio Auditore da Firenze, used in Constantinople.

Unlike many bomb types, gold bombs didn't inflict bodily harm, instead dispersing chunks of glittering pyrite coins, attracting hoards of scrounging citizens. These citizens would become aggressive towards any guard who approached them, an effect similar to throwing coins in a crowded area.

They could be crafted using any shell or gunpowder type, combined with the pyrite coins
