Gods or Creed was a visual representation of one of Bayek's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan in 2017 through the Portable Animus HR-8.[1]
Trapped in an eternity where the sole god Aten reigns, a man struggles to remember other deities from the Egyptian pantheon.
Within the Akhenaten's simulated afterlife of Aten, Bayek discovered an old man imprisoned in the Chambers of Reflection, put there for not conforming to the sole-god law.
Bayek released the man.
Bayek, taking pity on the man, carried him to safety, to his house south of the Chambers of Reflection.
Arriving at the old man's house, Bayek set him down.
Bayek departed the house and recovered the idols of Horus, Bastet, and Thoth.
Bayek returned to Khui with the idols in hand.
The old man was then engulfed in a blinding light.
The light faded as Khui transformed into an apparition of Amun-Ra himself, in the form of Bayek.
The apparition then vanished. Bayek inspected each of the statues, starting with the green ibis.
He inspected the blue hawk.
He inspected the black cat.
Bayek helped recover small statues of several of the gods, including Amun-Ra, so that the old man could remember them.
