The Water Mill was a mill located on the northern outskirts of Baghdad.

In the 860s, the Master Assassin Roshan met with the Zanj rebels at the water mill, where they awaited news about their leader Ali ibn Muhammad. Ali arrived some time later, following his rescue by the Alamut Hidden One Basim ibn Ishaq from the Damascus Gate Prison, with Basim himself arriving once he lost the Caliphate guards pursuing him.[1]
After Ali spoke to his men, he and the Hidden Ones retreated into one of the buildings to discuss their findings on the Order of the Ancients member known as "Al-Ghul".
