The Londinium Amphitheatre was a former Roman amphitheatre in London, England, once a Roman city called Londinium.

In 873, the amphitheatre was used by the Order of the Ancients member Avgos Spearhand to hold a private contest to recruit archers in preparation for an Order invasion of Lunden. The Viking Eivor Varinsdottir, who was hunting Avgos, was able to infiltrate the competition and win it, allowing her to get close enough to her target to assassinate him.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Londinium Amphitheatre reuses assets from the Cyrene Gladiator Arena in Assassin's Creed: Origins. However, this is inaccurate as the Cyrene arena is based on the Amphitheatre of El Jem, which was far larger than the Londinium Amphitheatre.
