The war letter only says that the Swedish Assassins used the company as a cover. It doesn't say anything about the company being founded by the Assassins. Also, Achilles reached out to the actual Swedish Assassins regarding the Aquila, not the company. In any case, the Aquila was built in 1749 so that whole paragraph was just wrong.
