Bayezid II (December 3, 1447 - May 26, 1512) was the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire from 1481 to 1512.

The Sultan welcomed many escaped Jewish refugees from the Inquisition of Queen Isabella I in Spain and King Manuel I in Portugal.
