Abraham Lincoln (12 February 1809 – 15 April 1865) was the 16th President of the United States, serving from March 1861 until his assassination in April 1865. Lincoln most notably led the United States through the constitutional, military and moral crisis during the American Civil War.
Lincoln was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth on 15 April 1865. After his assassination, John Wilkes Booth was hunted down and killed by the Assassins.[1]
Trivia
- During his time in captivity as a subject for the Abstergo Industries' Animus Project, Clay Kaczmarek relived the lives of his ancestor who fought during the Battle of Gettysburg, and overheard Lincoln's famous Gettysburg Address.[2]
