:I'll try to be there, if I don't forget :p As for the legacy costumes in Rogue, I don't have them either. I frankly doubt they're in there tbh, but who knows. Revision as of 16:33, 27 December 2014
Feel free to ask me anything regarding the Wiki and I'll try to answer as best I can.
Unity
Thank you for the advice! There are many categories for Unity, so it can get confusing sometimes. I will definitely take your advice and improve my work. Saving Private Ryan (talk) 17:45, November 30, 2014 (UTC)
Liberation
Hey Crook......
What is the difference between the real life liberation and the in-game liberation???
And in which of the two does it say that you (player) purchased it from abstergo??
- Jayam, I'm going to reiterate what Sima said. It's getting a tad annoying answering your questions when you can find the answers yourself by reading the relevant pages.
- "In-game Liberation" is the Abstergo entertainment product, "real life Liberation" is Assassin's Creed III: Liberation, the Ubisoft game originally released on PS Vita and then ported to PS3, Xbox360 and PC. Aside from that, there are no real differences - one exists inside a fictional universe, the other exists in the real world. Crook The Constantine District 16:50, December 4, 2014 (UTC)
Frontier
Crook, after Lessons and Revelations when you're in freeroam, I assume you can't just leg it to the other end of the Homestead and try heading for the Frontier, right? Is a path even there, or a memory wall pops up to threaten you with desync like a club bouncer? --Kainzorus Prime ⚜ Walkie-talkie 21:24, December 5, 2014 (UTC)
- I actually didn't think to try that - I remember going in the direction of where Myriam's hunting cabin would be in AC3. A memory wall popped up eventually and, following it, seemed to be put there to block my way to the beach - it was gone after I completed Lessons and Revelations. I didn't try in the opposite direction (I think I didn't even travel to the bridge over the river :s). I'll have a look when time allows. Crook The Constantine District 21:28, December 5, 2014 (UTC)
- I had a go today. Animus walls on all sides, I'm afraid. You can cross the river via the bridge, but the Animus wall pops up immediately after, so you can't go to the area where all the residents will have their homes, or beyond. The cliff that Shay eventually ends up at, chased by all the Assassins, in "Freewill" is also off-limits actually.
- Checked out the little house where you find Faulkner in AC3 as well, but there was nothing of note there either. Crook The Constantine District 15:46, December 8, 2014 (UTC)
Rogue Protagonist
That sucks oh well. But why would they change Silent Protagonist with the drop of a hat they aren't like the historical Assassins. With the Historical Assassins I get why but with the Silent Protagonist it makes no sense. I mean are they going to have new Silent Protagonist in every new Assassin's Creed game. --Cococrash11 (talk) 00:05, December 6, 2014 (UTC)
My wires
They are not crossed. Originally, I was going to chock that up to writing those templates at midnight, but I checked the guide just to make sure :P Stormbeast ♉ The Helpful Place 00:18, December 6, 2014 (UTC)
- Woops. My bad, Storm :p Silly game guide makers got their wires crossed then. Crook The Constantine District 08:55, December 6, 2014 (UTC)
<small>
So, that argument is missing in all BH/RV fullsynchs, and pretty sure in most of 3 as well. We'll have to both rectify that sometime. --Kainzorus Prime ⚜ Walkie-talkie 21:44, December 8, 2014 (UTC)
- Do ACB and ACR have more than one fullsync requirement? Memories with only one don't need the <small> code. Stormbeast ♉ The Helpful Place 21:49, December 8, 2014 (UTC)
- Don't they? Whoops, I might've put some of Liberation's memories that have one 1 full sync constraint in <small>. Crook The Constantine District 21:56, December 8, 2014 (UTC)
- We're making this happen. For unification's sake. --Kainzorus Prime ⚜ Walkie-talkie 16:21, December 9, 2014 (UTC)
- Fiiiiiine. So, we're fixing the sizes of the full sync constraints. Shall I start with Revelations then? Crook The Constantine District 16:29, December 9, 2014 (UTC)
- Yes, I'll tackle BH and AC3. --Kainzorus Prime ⚜ Walkie-talkie 16:30, December 9, 2014 (UTC)
- 'Kay. Are we putting all full sync constraints small, or only the memories that have multiple ones? I'm guessing the former, seeing as I can't remember Brotherhood/Revelations having more than one. Crook The Constantine District 16:34, December 9, 2014 (UTC)
- Yes, we're going Full Spectrum Warrior on all of them. --Kainzorus Prime ⚜ Walkie-talkie 17:36, December 9, 2014 (UTC)
Slash
I noticed that you've been adding slashes in the dialogue coding. Both I, Crimson and Slate have been removing those since they just add unnecessary coding. Does it actually change anything?--Bovkaffe (talk) 11:02, December 14, 2014 (UTC)
- It doesn't, but I am not really the one adding them. Ever since the third memory or so for Rogue, I've just used <br> to move down snippets of dialogue. I think Wikia adds those 'slashes' automatically, so there's not much that I can do about it.
- I don't think there's any difference between <br> and <br/> btw, so it's a tad annoying. Sorry :s Crook The Constantine District 11:11, December 14, 2014 (UTC)
Initiates
Where did you get those nice improved images?--Bovkaffe (talk) 14:40, December 18, 2014 (UTC)
- Here. If there's one thing Access the Animus is good for, it's finding artists that worked on the franchise :) Crook The Constantine District 14:43, December 18, 2014 (UTC)
IRC
Could you meet me on the IRC at some point in the future? I have a favour to beg of you. --Crimson Knight Intercom 15:16, December 20, 2014 (UTC)
- I'll be there in 30-ish minutes. Crook The Constantine District 15:20, December 20, 2014 (UTC)
- UPDATE: Make that 'the amount of time it takes me to install a client'. Which, considering my general ineptitude, I don't count being anytime soon tbh. Crook The Constantine District 16:04, December 20, 2014 (UTC)
- Aw well. Let me know when you're available. There's no rush. --Crimson Knight Intercom 16:08, December 20, 2014 (UTC)
- I'm there and ready to chew Sima out for being all "get a client it's easy bitch". Crook The Constantine District 16:30, December 20, 2014 (UTC)
Oh balls, I completely forgot about this, sorry. I won't really be available much until the 31st, so I hope that works for you. But I have something else to ask. When you played Rogue, did you get Altaïr, Ezio, Connor, Edward, or Arno outfits? Because I should have received them all (except Arno's), but I haven't yet. --Crimson Knight Intercom 01:36, December 27, 2014 (UTC)
- I'll try to be there, if I don't forget :p As for the legacy costumes in Rogue, I don't have them either. I frankly doubt they're in there tbh, but who knows. I wonder if someone has a video of Shay in the legacy outfits :s Crook The Constantine District 09:11, December 27, 2014 (UTC)
- Well, there's this.
- I am peeved. I really want to run around in Edward's robes. --Crimson Knight Intercom 14:33, December 27, 2014 (UTC)
