Real?

This was linked to Empyrean, but that is about a place, not power source/material/somesuch. Why was it linked? Sadelyrate (siniath) 07:00, September 24, 2019 (UTC)

The page goes on to say the Empyreal is an alternate adjectival form and that it was sometimes used synonymously with the firmament which is more the material said place was made out of. Quintessence and Aether could be other synonyms. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 08:04, September 24, 2019 (UTC)

You're referring to this: "The Empyrean was thus used as a name for the firmament, and in Christian literature for the dwelling-place of God, the blessed, celestial beings so divine they are made of pure light, and the source of light and creation." But that's still about a place, rather than a material, even if we disregard the 'Christian literature'-bit. Sadelyrate (siniath) 08:18, September 24, 2019 (UTC)

In Christian cosmology firmament is both the dome that separates the waters and the name of the material for the dome. As you can see at the bottom of the empyrean page it is classified as an element itself. Alternatively it could be aether as said. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 10:06, September 24, 2019 (UTC)
