Wellington was a British plantation on the eastern coast of Jamaica.

History

In an attempt to deter Maroon rebels from attempting to liberate the plantation, the Royal Navy regularly patrolled the surrounding waters. In 1735, the Maroons, temporarily assisted by the Assassin Adéwalé, had managed to take control of their own brigantine, the Experto Crede, prompting the British to station a Man O' War at Wellington's harbor.

After the Experto Crede was sufficiently upgraded, she engaged the Man O' War, eventually sinking her after a pitched battle. Adéwalé then proceeded to liberate the plantation, and in the process found three literate recruits who aided him in his plan to infiltrate the French Geodesic Mission.
