Water Rats was a virtual representation of one of Bayek's genetic memories, relieved by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.
Description
Bandits have taken over an important spring and are extorting the farmers who need fresh water.
Dialogue
Bayek made his way to the entrance of the Amanai Cave.
- Bayek: The Amanai cave. Aya and I used to come her as kids. Bandits must be inside.
He discovered a man hiding outside the cave.
- Man: Dear Amun, help me.
- Bayek: Kett? Is that you? What are you doing?
- Kett: Bayek! I heard you were back. Keep quiet, they'll hear you.
- Bayek: Who will hear me?
- Kett: Bandits! The bastards took over the spring. Almost everyone on this side of Siwa gets their water from here.
Bayek made his way inside the cave. He overhead a conversation between the bandits.
- Egyptian Soldier: Beat any passing farmers to a pulp, men. Let them know we mean business.
Bayek eliminated the bandits occupying the cave.
- Bayek: That's it. Bandits will think twice before coming back here.
- Kett: Bayek, the spring, you got it back! I'm very grateful, Bayek. It's like having our Medjay back again.
- Bayek: I'm glad I could help.
- Kett: May Amun walk with you, seni.
Outcome
Bayek eliminated the bandits occupying the cave, allowing the villagers of Siwa to collect water from the spring again.
