Assassin's Creed II

Template:Spoiler Vidic is not seen until the end of the story, furious about Desmond and Lucy escaping Abstergo, reminding Lucy that he saved her life once, he then brings out some Abstergo guards, quickly dispatched by the recently skill-honed Desmond and Lucy. Vidic is forced to leave the hideout, swearing that this is not the last they've seen of him, as he rides out in a truck. Template:Spoiler End

Connection to other antagonists

Al Mualim

Upon closer look at Vidic, there is a striking resemblance to Al Mualim, the mentor of Altaïr. Whether this is merely coincidence or part of the storyline is yet to be seen or stated. Al Mualim could have very possibly fathered a child far before the events of Assassin's Creed and that he never raised the child for fear of losing power or raised it in secrecy. This could lead to yet a greater conspiracy and to the suspicion that the actual role that Vidic plays is far greater in the grand scheme of things. However, it should be noted that these are all suppositions and speculations and thus nothing is known or certain so far. The fact that Al-Mualim is Syrian and Vidic is a Balkan (specifically Serbian) surname makes this theory unlikely however.

Rodrigo Borgia

However, now that Assassin's Creed II has been released, there is a far more facial resemblance to Rodrigo Borgia, the nemesis of the second game. Moreover, Rodrigo has descendants (his children: Cesare, Lucrezia, Gioffre, Juan, Pedro Luis and two children who's names are not mentioned in history books) whereas it is uncertain for Al Mualim (although Altaïr says in the codex that having children in the Order is traditional).
