Warn The Village was a virtual representation of one of Ratonhnhaké:ton's genetic memories, relived by Desmond Miles in 2012 through the Animus.
Description
After defending Concord and Lexington from King Washington's forces, Ratonhnhaké:ton and Kaniehtí:io realised their village was in danger.
Ratonhnhaké:ton traveled back to his village, to find Washington launching a full-scale attack on the village. Ratonhnhaké:ton destroyed most of Washington's Army, before Kaniehtí:io was murdered by Washington. Ratonhnhaké:ton then faced Washington and was also struck down by Washington.
Dialogue
- Kaniehtí:io: He tried to destroy the entire town. It is all my fault.
- Ratonhnhaké:ton: I do not understand. Washington knows me. He is a man of reason, if nothing else. But that was not the man I once called my friend.
- Kaniehtí:io: Are you confused? When would you have ever met that monster?
- Ratonhnhaké:ton: I met him... I... Mother, this is all wrong. Washington, the violence, all of it!
- Kaniehtí:io: We must get back and warn our people in the village before the Mad King spreads his destruction there.
Ratonhnhaké:ton and Kaniehtí:io mounted horses for the journey back to the village.
- Ratonhnhaké:ton: The Lexington I knew was the scene of a great triumph. Now it is a place of disaster.
Ratonhnhaké:ton and Kaniehtí:io survived a bluecoat ambush on the way back to the village, with help from two other villagers.
- Kaniehtí:io: (to the other villagers) Mad King George is on a warpath and intends to destroy our village. We need every able body to protect it, come with us.
- Teiowí:sonte: We know. Oiá:ner sent us to collect boughs of the Great Willow. She means for us to defend our people.
- Kaniehtí:io: To make the tea?! Has she lost her senses?! The tea's pitfalls overshadow its power. You must not do it.
- Teiowí:sonte: You have seen what it can do? Is it dangerous?
- Kaniehtí:io: I have seen it. It is worse than dangerous, it is a promise of madness, even death for those lacking the constitution.
- Teiowí:sonte's Brother: We cannot disobey the Clan Mother.
- Kaniehtí:io: Believe me, the tea of the Great Willow is follow. Come back with us.
- Teiowí:sonte: We will fulfill the Clan Mother's request. We will collect the boughs. Speak to Oiá:ner, and if you can convince her, we will burn them.
- Kaniehtí:io: I intend to.
Teiowí:sonte and his brother left for the Great Willow tree, whilst Ratonhnhaké:ton and Kaniehtí:io continued to the village.
- Ratonhnhaké:ton: What is the Tea of the Great Willow?
- Kaniehtí:io: Something our people should never have discovered. It is the tea brewed of the Great Willow's virgin boughs and consumed by our warriors. It grants certain - strengths, Ratonhnhaké:ton, but for every physical boon it gives, it robs a piece of the mind. It must never be made.
- Ratonhnhaké:ton: Did you drink it?
- Kaniehtí:io: Never. But I have seen what happens to those who do. You are the son of a man of violence. It would affect you far more than anyone else. I will not allow you to drink it.
Kaniehtí:io and Ratonhnhaké:ton arrived at the village before the attack. The Mohawk villagers were gathered around the fire, with the Clan Mother.
- Kaniehtí:io: (to the Clan Mother) You intend to brew tea of the Great Willow? Have you forgotten the consequence of drinking it? I have not.
- Oiá:ner: No, Kaniehtí:io, but when our people face a threat like the Mad King, there are no other paths.
- Kaniehtí:io: No other paths? We can fight them as human beings! My son and I have had success just the two of us. Imagine the strength of our whole village.
- Oiá:ner: And how many of these fearless Bluecoats have you brought down at a time? Two? Five? Ten? Thousands will come to destroy us - thousands that YOU awoke. Our people's survival depends on the strength of the Great Willow.
- Kaniehtí:io: You are as mad as the King. Do what you will but my son will not drink the tea.
Kaniehtí:io dragged Ratonhnhaké:ton away from the fire, towards their home.
- Oiá:ner: Then, like you, he will die.
Kaniehtí:io and Ratonhnhaké:ton walked towards their home.
- Kaniehtí:io: Stupid old woman!
- Ratonhnhaké:ton: What would you have us do, mother? We have no choice but to fight.
- Kaniehtí:io: I know. I have something that will help. Something from your father.
- Ratonhnhaké:ton: My father?
- Kaniehtí:io: He left it for you long ago, before he died.
Ratonhnhaké:ton and Kaniehtí:io entered their home. Kaniehtí:io handed Ratonhnhaké:ton a set of hidden blades.
- Ratonhnhaké:ton: My father left those for me?
- Kaniehtí:io: He was part of an order. A secret brotherhood-
- Ratonhnhaké:ton: I know who my father was and I know what those are.
- Kaniehtí:io: You do?
- Ratonhnhaké:ton: They will certainly help.
- Kaniehtí:io: How do you know all this?
- Ratonhnhaké:ton: I can not explain. Everything is all wrong here! All of this should NOT BE. YOU should not be. I watched you-
Ratonhnhaké:ton was interrupted by the sound of gunfire from outside the house. He and Kaniehtí:io ran outside to investigate. Ratonhnhaké:ton was greeted by a large amount of Washington's men.
- Kaniehtí:io: He is here!
Ratonhnhaké:ton killed a large proportion of Washington's forces, with Washington himself overlooking the battlefield on horseback, accompanied by his two Generals.
- George Washington: General Putnam, General Arnold. I sometimes despair of our project. I question my abilities and my strength. But with you two at my side, I believe we will bring liberty to this country and we will bring it with fists of iron! Can I have assurance of your loyalty?
- General Putnam: You have my solemn pledge.
- General Arnold: And mine.
- George Washington: Thank you, honorable gentlemen. This country will remember you.
- General Putnam: Give no quarter to the savages!
Kaniehtí:io approached George Washington.
- Kaniehtí:io: You will not succeed here!
- George Washington: You!? You survived? How astonishing. This time, I'll make certain of your death.
George Washington pulled out his scepter (containing the Apple of Eden) as Kaniehtí:io rushed towards him. She was struck to the ground in a flash of light. Ratonhnhaké:ton looked over, saw her on the floor and rushed over to her.
- Ratonhnhaké:ton: MOTHER! Washington!
George Washington dismounted his horse and walked towards Ratonhnhaké:ton. Ratonhnhaké:ton attempted to kill Washington, but failed and was struck to the ground in a flash of light.
- George Washington: With my power, I will rule over a free world!
George Washington walked towards Ratonhnhaké:ton, pulling out two pistols and shooting him before he threw the pistols to the ground. He motioned to a nearby soldier to hand him his musket, which he then used to stab and then subsequently shoot Ratonhnhaké:ton in the chest. Ratonhnhaké:ton fell lifeless, staring at his mother's dead body.
Outcome
Ratonhnhaké:ton and Kaniehtí:io both died defending their village from the attack of King Washington.
