Wanted poster

A wanted poster of Ezio initiated by the Pazzi.

Wanted posters were printed signs found in cities that featured the face of the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze, demanding for his immediate capture.

Ezio first encountered them after the execution of his family. The posters prominently displayed the Pazzi family emblem and promised awards of 50,000 florins to anyone who killed or captured the Assassin, once he committed socially unacceptable behavior.

By tearing down wanted posters within cities, Ezio quickly learned to avoid the presence of guards while doing so, who were often alerted once they detected his actions.

Trivia

• Many of the posters displayed in Florence, Venice, Forlì and San Gimignano are placed in unusual places, where citizens can hardly see them, negating their intended purpose. However, the posters in Rome are often placed at ground level and in more crowded areas.
• In Assassin's Creed II: Discovery, players can use the DSi's camera feature to insert their own photo in place of Ezio's printed face.'
• The posters continue to state that members of the Pazzi family will offer a reward after they all have been killed by Ezio.
• The posters in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood remain the same as the ones in Assassin's Creed II; the symbol of the Pazzi family no longer appears as it is replaced by the Borgia coat of arms.
• If a poster is located on the wall of a Borgia Tower, igniting the tower will not remove the poster and lower notoriety.
• Wanted posters do not feature in Assassin's Creed: Revelations.
