Town criers were public announcers that existed during the Colonial era. Assassins could bribe these criers in order to reduce their notoriety. Town criers, always reduce notoriety two levels down. Town criers, are only present in Boston and New York.
Trivia
- Unlike heralds from previous Assassin's Creed installments, town criers could not be pickpocketed after being bribed. Also, they did not attract large crowds as heralds did in former installments, and some held up newspapers.
