Ezio, my friend! How may I be of service?

Tomás de Torquemada (1420 - 16 September 1498) was a Spanish Dominican friar, first Inquisitor General of Spain, and confessor to Isabella I of Castile living in the fifteenth century. An admirer of Rodrigo Borgia, he, as Inquisitor General, had many Assassins burned alive under the Templar banner, though he wasn't a Templar himself. However, a few of these burnings were prevented by Ezio Auditore da Firenze, who had come to Spain to find out about the Inquisition's plans.

Eventually, Ezio confronted Tomás in his castle. Tomás believed that Rodrigo believed in God as well, despite Ezio's claims that said otherwise. Ezio did not kill Tomás as he had no reason to do so,[1] and Tomás probably continued to loyally serve Rodrigo's goals until he was killed by Assassins.[2]
