Sofia Sorto was a Venetian bookseller living in Constantinople during the 16th century. During her time in Constantinople, she befriended Ezio Auditore, the Grand Master of the Assassin Order and later became his wife. Together they had two children: Marcello and Flavia Auditore.

Personality

Sofia had a thirst for knowledge and desired to spread that knowledge to the poor people of the Byzantine Empire. Upon their first meeting, Ezio instantly felt a connection to the woman, yet could not bring himself to tell her the truth about who he really was, which may have posed an obstacle in the development of their relationship.
