The Clan Mother was a Mohawk tribeswoman who posed as the elder of the village of Kanatahséton. During this time, she met with the Mohawk Ratonhnhaké:ton and allowed him to interact with the Crystall Ball that she had in her possession, which allowed its wielder to enter the Nexus, where the user could communicate with Juno.
Many years later, she met with an adult Ratonhnhaké:ton and told him of the whereabouts of Kanen'tó:kon and other Mohawk men, who were attempting to attack the colonial soldiers.
Sometime after Kanen'tó:kon's death, she spoke with Ratonhnaké:ton once more. She revealed to him that she planned to move their people to the west to avoid the war, like many of the other nations had been doing. After his unpleasant reaction, she told him that she would do what was best for her people. Ratonhnaké:ton then left the village.
