The Clan Mother was a Mohawk tribeswoman who posed as the elder of the village of Kanatahséton. During this time, she met with the Mohawk Ratonhnhake:ton and allowed him to interact with an artifact that she possessed, which allowed its wielder to enter the Synch Nexus, where the user could communicate with Juno.
