Nanatsumatsu was a military camp located west of Amagasaki in Izumi Settsu, Japan.
History
In early 1582, the Iga kunoichi Fujibayashi Naoe traveled to the camp to learn about Wada Koretake's location,[1] due to his part in her father Fujibayashi Nagato's death.[2] There, she found and confronted Shindo Hiroshii, a samurai and executioner under Oda Nobunaga and close associate of Koretake. Despite being accompanied by several guards, Hiroshii and his men ultimately fell to Naoe's blade, whereupon she recovered a letter from Hiroshii's personal effects revealing Koretake's whereabouts at Amagasaki Castle.[1]
