Mujir was the Mentor of the Levantine Assassins as of 1511. He was arrested by the Mamluks to intimidate the Assassins in Jerusalem, who were fearful of their recruiting efforts. Mujir was rescued by Ottoman Assassins sent from Constantinople by Ezio Auditore da Firenze, in a "spectacular fashion".
