An Eye for an Eye was a virtual representation of one of Edward Kenway's genetic memories, relived by a research analyst at Abstergo Entertainment through the Animus.

While at the fort at Castillo de Jagua, Edward took a privateering contract from the Dutch merchant Milo van der Graaff, asking him to board a Spanish frigate, the San Lorenzo, and capture it.

Edward completed the contract and received his payment.
