Brother Largworth was an Anglo-Saxons monk from Suthsexe, England who lived in the 9th century.
In the 870s, Brother Largworth lost his community and fellow monks after a raid on Chertsey Abbey. After burying his fellow brothers and neighbors, he stationed himself at a burial mount south from the abbey, proclaiming that he would take ninety-nine Danes' lives for the lives lost that day.
