I wanted to ask you something. Which is... what's your name? This article title is conjecture. Although the article subject is canon, no official name for it has been given. |
A Sage of the Isu Aita was responsible for establishing the Guardians of the Observatory, an ancient Isu surveillance complex that could only be opened through the blood of Aita.
Biography
Guardian of the Observatory
In the early 1500s, the Sage arrived at Long Bay on the coast of Jamaica to locate the Observatory, a task he succeeded. During his time there, he gained the loyalty and respect of a local Taíno tribe. So that the site would be protected from intruders in the future, he had these Taíno swear to dedicate their lives and those of their descendants to guarding it in perpetuity. The Sage spent the rest of his life around the Observatory, dying by Long Bay. The Taíno who buried him did not mark his tomb so as to prevent anyone from using his blood to open the Observatory.[1]
Legacy
150 years later, the whereabouts of the Sage's resting place was told to Aita's most recent incarnation, Thomas Kavanagh, Jr., by the Taíno of the island after Kavanagh had holed himself up within their sacred Observatory and had later gained their trust. The Taíno knew Kavanagh was a Sage and stated it had been some time since the last.[1] The bay would later also become Kavanagh's own resting place, similiar to his predecessor.[2]
