The Kingdom is the landscape that connects the areas of Masyaf, Acre, Jerusalem, Damascus and Arsuf. Within the Kingdom are many small villages, dwarfed by the massive cities they connect.
Political climate
The Kingdom is currently acting as the open battlefield of the Third Crusade, where Saracens and Crusaders constantly clash. The western end of the Kingdom is actively militarized by the Lionheart Crusaders. The eastern region falls under the jurisdiction of the Saracen army. Both sides have fortified armies, to defend against each other and the Assassins. The Templars have a large presence throughout the Kingdom, having a full thirty knights spread throughout.
Guards
Both sides of the war have fortified their armies. One can find guard patrols, groups of guards, even the occasional archer tower. All guards patrolling in formation within the Kingdom are constantly Informed, and will be very quick to notice you and attack. To safely cross the Kingdom, you might use a horse. However, if you use a horse, be wary that groups of guards can attack the horse so you are thrown off and roadblocks formed by soldiers. You may also have difficulty crossing villages and fortresses spread through the Kingdom- you may have to leave your horse and draw your blade to deal with the guards. You will instantly become anonymus when in the Assassins' portion of the kingdom.

Collectibles
King Richard has spread 100 of his flags throughout the Kingdom. Altaïr can collect these to complete an Additional Memory, and, in the Xbox 360 version, an Achievement. In addition, there are 30 Templars to be killed, and 12 View Points to be reached.
Trivia
- When you're leaving Masyaf for the first time, one of the Assassins in Kingdom is glowing red while using Eagle Vision on him. But when you attack him, other Assassins will attack you.
- This assassin is actually Jamal, the traitor inside the order that along with Masun opened the gates for the Templar attack at Masyaf. It was to be originally a mission target, but the mission was cut and the character remained as a minor easter egg.
