Jean d'Arc (1404 – 1477)[1] was the son of Jacques d'Arc and the eldest brother of the famous French saint and hero Joan of Arc. He was described as larger and more solid than his younger brother, Pierre.

On 1 May 1428, Jean and Pierre met their step cousin, Gabriel Laxart, and gladly took the bread that their mother delivered through him.[2]
