Haras.

Haras (? - 1189) was an undercover Templar spy in the Assassin Order.

Biography

In 1189, Haras betrayed the Assassin Order, and led an army of Templars to attack the Assassins' fortress of Masyaf. He alerted the nearby Templar army and ordered the attack. Many Assassins were killed in the defence, and Al Mualim was captured. The Assassin Altair Ibn-La'Ahad tried to kill Haras, but he threatened him with the death of Al Mualim. Haras then promptly returned to the courtyard, and killed an assassin hostage with his crossbow. However, Altair had breached the walls, and killed Haras with his sword. As Haras died, he tried to convince Altair that his creed was false, but to no avail. He then fell forward, and died.

In 2012, his genetic memories were used by Abstergo Industries under the name of the Crusader for their Animus subjects.
