Gyllir was a horse owned by the Icelandic skald and Hidden One Thorvald Hjaltason. He accompanied Thorvald to Uppsala during his mission to combat the invading army of Styrbjörn the Strong and help King Eric the Victorious retain the throne of Svealand.[1][2]
