The Freemasons were a fraternal organization formed in the late 16th or early 17th century.
During the American Revolution, some of the most prominent leaders of the revolutionary forces and the Continental Army, including George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Israel Putnam and Lafayette, were Freemasons.
According to Clay Kaczmarek's third Glyph, the Freemasons brought an Apple of Eden to the New World, by carrying it across the sea.
