Biography
Europa lived in Mareia Port along with her husband Eryx, who made chariots for a living. In 48 BCE, Eryx was commissioned by soldiers from the Anthylla Outpost to build war chariots for the pharaoh Ptolemy XIII. However, when Eryx did so, the soldiers offered to pay half the agreed price. Eryx refused to accept the payment and was cut down by the soldiers, who then stole his chariot.
Europa was deeply affected by Eryx's death and stopped selling chariots to villagers in the port. When the Medjay, Bayek, learned of her situation, he accepted her request to destroy the chariot and restore her husband's name and honor.
