Dunvegan Village is a village in the west of the Isle of Skye.
History
During the 9th century, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan arrived at Dunvegan Village and heard a brewer complaining about his missing notes. Eivor soon saw a barred door of a hut and broke inside the hut, which held the notes. With the notes, Eivor talked with the brewer, who became elated and asked Eivor for her help for the ingredients. Eivor probed the farm area and procured the ingredients and then headed back to the brewer.
