Dulcamara was a Venetian expatriate and jester in Constantinople. He performed tasks for the Templars after his antics caused the ruin of a Sultan's beloved vizir. Unlike his French counterpart, Cahin, he used a single khanjar dagger to kill his unfortunate victims, using one dagger instead of two.

In 2012, his memories were used by the Templar company Abstergo Industries, in the training of their Animus recruits, under the title "The Jester".
