Dulcamara was a Venetian expatriate and jester in Constantinople. He performed tasks for the Templars after his antics caused the ruin of a Sultan's beloved vizier. He wields a khanjar dagger, unlike his Roman counterpart Cahin, who used two daggers to kill his unfortunate victims.

In 2012, his memories were used by the Templar company Abstergo Industries, in the training of their Animus recruits, under the title of the Jester.
