When [[Ezio Auditore da Firenze]] had gotten one of the Altair's Seals from [[Leandros]], he relived the life as [[Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad]], whom had came back to [[Masyaf]] to know that [[Al Mualim]] and been captured and his ally Assassins murdered. Before this had happened the Crusader was a secret Templar, whom had helped the Assassins claim victorious. The Crusader had told Altair that any steps forwards will result in the death of Al Mualim, so he did what was told and stopped, afterwards the Crusader went to [[Al Mualim]] after having closing the gates. Altair had to find a different route to infiltrate the fortress, and so he did.
