The Cave of Rhea was a cave in Zeus' Playground in Messara, Greece. It was used by Followers of Ares members as a base and had two entrances.

During the Peloponnesian War the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place, killed the followers, freed their prisoners and looted the valuables within.[1]

Trivia

  • The name of this cave references Rhea, one of the Titans that lived on Mount Ida on Crete in Greek mythology.
