Blaise Legros was an opportunistic "captain for hire" who lent his abilities to anyone who would pay for them. Obsessed with expanding his fortunes, he sailed the high seas knowing no master nor morals. He was seldom loyal to his charges, often sailing them to their destination knowing they would perish. He had no allegiances or allies in life, chartering any that could add to his wealth. [1]
In 2012, his genetic memories were used by the Templar company Abstergo Industries, to train their Animus recruits, under the title of the Privateer.
