The Blunt Sword was a well-used sword carried by one of the guards at Musa ibn Nusayr Fort in al-Ula.[1] In the 860s, the Alamut Hidden One Basim ibn Ishaq looted the sword and an equally-worn dagger from an incapacitated guard while escaping his imprisonment under the orders of prison master 'Abis.[2]
