An entry in the Abstergo News Wire

The Abstergo News Wire is a news bulletin used by Abstergo Industries, serving as an internal news network regarding recent events happening within the company.

History

In September 2012, the Wire was hacked by an unknown third-party who used it to spread misinformation regarding the alleged L-11 outbreak, Mexican and US border issues and closures of American film studios.[1] A year later in October, the hacktivist group Erudito claimed responsibility for the attacks, the Wire later reported on this.[2]

In the October 2013 issue of the bulletin, an article was posted celebrating the 1-year anniversary of Abstergo Entertainment in Montreal.[2]
