Dorothy as an Oracle[edit source]
Since she didn’t hold office of an Oracle in an official manner I assume she’s included due to Consus speaking through her. If that is the case should we also include others that communed with him like Giovanni Borgia? Lacrossedeamon (talk) 09:28, September 22, 2018 (UTC)
- That's a good question, imo. I included her since the Templars were thinking of trying to replicate her with others, to get "more oracles". Given that Oracles are folks who were thought to 'speak the word of god(s)', Giovanni Borgia would fit in, too. Especially since when Consus spoke through him, he... was possessed/entered a trance.
- I think a key feature here should be repetition; people that were said to repeatedly channel a god or another. Because far as I can tell, that's true for all those currently in the category, including Dorothy. Sadelyrate (siniath) 10:14, September 22, 2018 (UTC)
- What about Gramatica and da Costa? They technically counts but to me it would feel wrong to classify them as such. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 10:53, September 22, 2018 (UTC)
- Technically...yeah. But you're right: there's a difference between channeling a god like an oracle, and seeking to contact a member of another civilization, imo.Sadelyrate (siniath) 11:05, September 22, 2018 (UTC)
- I guess we can use the difference in the nature of the relationship between Gramatica and Consus as opposed to Giovanni and Consus in order to exclude him but I am going to add the Molina and the old guy from PL. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 11:37, September 22, 2018 (UTC)
