Project lead Tim Van Kan points out that "there are currently no plans for commercial release of the game, or any kind of distribution." That still leaves open the possibility of the game appearing at trade shows, but it is also possible that Ubisoft is just testing the waters to carry their biggest franchises to virtual reality.

The game's title screen

Assassin's Creed: Da Vinci's Workshop was a VR game being developed by Ubisoft in conjunction with the NHTV University. Little information has been revealed about the title except that it was in development around 2017 and that, according to the project lead Tim Van Kan, there were "no plans for a commercial release of the game, or any kind of distribution."[1]

With no news about the game since, it has entered vaporware status, and it is unlikely it will release to the public.
