Woody Shinnings was a virtual representation of one of Evie Frye's genetic memories, relived by a Helix initiate through the Helix Navigator.
Description[edit | edit source]
Evie hunted down Woody Shinnings, an actor wanted for the murder of another actor, Richard Altman.
Dialogue[edit | edit source]
Approaching the target, Evie heard him talking with a Rook.
- Rook 1: 'Av you gone stak ravin' mad? Those 'whores' are gess poor women like me and you!
- Woody Shinnings: With all the peelers workin' the Ripper case, I've been makin' meself a bloody fortune... Pickin' pockets, robbin' shops, exortin' whores for protection fees -- you name it! You can get a way with murder... I mean literally.
- Rook 1: I wouldn't go around bragging about it... There are plenty of police not in uniform 'round 'ere you know...
Evie snuck up on Shinnings, kidnapping him. Getting him into a carriage, Evie then brought him to Frederick Abberline.
- Abberline: Leave him with me, I'll see that justice is done. Thank you.
I'll take that miscreant off your hands now, Miss Frye.
