The Wincestre Seminary was an Anglo-Saxon church in Wincestre, Hamtunscire, which also served as an educational school for the children of the city in the 9th century.
History[edit | edit source]
In the 870s, Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan entered the church and found a pious yet confused man named Asser, waiting for a sign from God. Manipulating the light coming from outside into the church, she inadvertently made Asser dedicate his life to writing a biography of King Alfred the Great.[1] Eivor also probed inside the establishment and found both a treasure hoard map on a table filled with scrolls, and a chest within a tower of the building. Breaking through the destructible floor, Eivor saw the chest, opened it, and retrieved a Tungsten ingot.[2]
Sometime after assassinating the Order of the Ancients member known as The Quill, Eivor visited the seminary and reunited with Wigbert, one of the children forced to work for The Quill. Revealing he had joined the school, Wigbert explained his desire to abandon the life of crime and build a better future for himself.[2]
